OPET’s Annual Meeting took place Friday, July 17th 2003 at 7:30 pm at the at the conference room of the newly completed Woods Hole Research Center Building, on Woods Hole Road across the street from Treetops. The meeting was open to all OPET members and any other interested parties. The program begins at 7:30 pm with a welcome by George M. Woodwell, Director of the WHRC. after which OPET’s annual business meeting commenced including talks on activities, the year’s overview, and reports. After the OPET business concluded, keynote speaker Dr. Eric A. Davidson, OPET Vice President, and Senior Scientist of the Woods Hole Research Center gave the presentation.
The Woods Hole Research Center (WHRC) moved into its New, energy efficient, environmentally friendly, "green" building in March of this year. Guided tours of the building were given for OPET members prior to the meeting from 6:30 to 7:15 pm.
