The 2007 OPET Annual Meeting was held July 25 at 7 Pm at the Woods Hole Research Center, 149 Woods Hole Road, Falmouth beginning with light refreshments. The business meeting began at 7:30 PM. OPET president Lou Turner, Wendi Buessler, and Treasurer Barry Norris spoke and answered questions. Two new members of the board were elected. After the meeting botanist, Dr. Mario Digregorio presented A Botanical Slide Tour of Zinn Park. The wetlands scientist and author of A Vanishing Heritage: Cape Cod's Wildflowers Mario also presented the results of last year's plant survey of Zinn Park, including the magnificent Linden Tree, and the help of the Americorps volunteers who removed many invasive honeysuckle plants from the park.
