Oyster Pond Environmental Trust (OPET)

As a non-profit organization, fund raising is a very important aspect of OPET in order to help preserve Oyster Pond and its watershed. OPET funds land conservation efforts, pond studies, educational outreach and other activities for the benefit of the pond and its watershed.

Remember OPET is a 501(c) 3 organization, and your donation may be tax-deductible as allowed by law. OPET accepts gifts of cash, shares or real estate (by donation of appreciated stock shares or real estate you may avoid capital gains tax yet you can deduct the full gift value from your income tax).
